
Hot Honey Steak Salad
A flavorful steak salad featuring tenderloin steaks seasoned with salt and pepper, complemented by arugula, power greens, and a spicy honey dressing. Topped with blue cheese and pistachios for added richness and crunch.
What you need

cup honey
beef tenderloin steaks

cup blue cheese

shallot

tsp garlic powder

cup pistachio nuts

tbsp dijon mustard

tsp black pepper

tsp salt

tsp onion powder

tbsp red wine vinegar

cup arugula

bunch fresh chives

cup mixed greens
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F for the pistachios. 2. Season the tenderloin steaks generously with salt and black pepper. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steaks to desired doneness, then set aside. 4. Thinly slice the shallot and chop the chives, then add to a large bowl with the arugula and power greens mix. 5. Mix 2/3 cup of salted pistachios with 2 tablespoons of hot honey, spread on a lined baking sheet, and bake for 4-5 minutes. 6. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons hot honey, 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and season with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder to taste. 7. Slice the cooked steaks and add them to the salad bowl, along with crumbled blue cheese. 8. Toss the salad with the dressing and top with the honey-roasted pistachios before serving.
